What are Virtual Accounts?
Virtual accounts are generated account details (account number and bank) that allow Numero Businesses to receive payments from customers via bank transfer. Virtual accounts are currently only available in naira.
Virtual Accounts and Virtual Cards are unrelated!!
Virtual accounts allow you to receive payments into your Numero account via bank transfer, while virtual cards allow you to make online payments.
Virtual Cards are currently not available on Numero. As soon as they available, we would update the documentation accordingly.
Virtual accounts are either dynamic (temporary) or reserved (permanent). A dynamic account number expires after handling the specified number of transactions (the frequency parameter), while a reserved account number doesn't expire.
